The three is connected
Stereotype is how you group people (skin colour, sex, age group etc.) and relate it to certain trait (mostly negative)
When you see a person (even for the first time) you tend to group he/she into certain group and then you relate it to any trait within your memory (it relate to your belief which not necessarily true)
And this process occur even when you not realize it (human nature!)
Prejudice is negative attitude toward certain group of people.
Prejudice occur AFTER stereotype
Discrimination is hostile behavior toward certain group of people
Discrimination occur AFTER prejudice
Example,
You see a black skin-person and you relate that African-American are aggressive (stereotype)
Then, you feel hatred or scared of them (prejudice)
Then, you try to stay away from them or even hurt them (discrimination)
Another example,
You hit someone just because he got different skin colour and don't even know him/her!
It is cruel indeed.
To reduce (its hard to prevent!) it,
1. we need to consider that a person is an individual that not belong to any group.
2. put up a goal for all can work together to achieve (one of the application from my earlier post 'Attraction - similarity')
There is more...please self-read
Prejudice and Discrimination is lethal.
It is the cause of genocide (massive killing).
One example, the nazy kill all the jewish during the world war just because, well, they are jew. And in their view, the jewish is the cause of their economy downfall.
Moral: Don't judge a book by it's cover (even though that is what we do ALL the TIME))

Reuse coffee bean?
Recently there are uproar, about sustainable future, go green etc.
Most of them concern about sustainable development.
The goal is that the 'mother earth' ages can be prolong and that there is tomorrow for the next generation.
So, even scientific studies has this 'for the sake of the future' theme stick to it.
About that, my final year project also has this theme in it.
That is, I use Used coffee ground to remove heavy metal from water.
Not my idea actually, I just do it according to my advisor.
But still it quite interesting for me because its like killing Two Bird with one Stone with this research.
Clean the water + Recycling (save resources)
There other options like biological process but unfortunately its very EXPENSIVE
On the otherhand, used coffee bean are Extremely cheap.
Rather, you can even said it is useless, garbage etc. because no one using want it. (cost nothing!)
The exhausted coffee ground (ECG) is used to ADSORP the heavy metal.
ABSORP - Into the material, ADSORP - Only on the surface of the material (don't be confuse!)
Currently, the best ABSORBENT is activated carbon which is EXPENSIVE.
ABSORBENT - material that use to adsorp.
I won't discuss any further...CONFIDENTIAL!

Attraction
WHY people attract to each other?
WHY do you like certain people only and not everyone?
Well, scientist (psychologist) says that there is few factors underlying who likes who.
1. Proximity
>Notice, your friend (most of them) live near you (closeness in term of physical spaces).
>Such closeness create opportunity for you to meet and know each other.
2. Similarity
>We are not magnet (same will repulse, differ will attract) because people with similarity often than not, attract to each other.
>Your friend is one in same believe/religion/races most of the time.
>Differences on the otherhand, create conflict, prejudice etc.
3. Physical Attraction
>Men like woman with slim body, and woman like men with muscular abs.
>This mostly true across culture.
0==]::::::::::> Knowing this can be weapon
to attract people.
Let say you got certain someone you want to attract...
You can research that someone's hobby, home, fashion etc.
If you know where he/she live, maybe you can move close by (proximity)
Or if you know his/her hobby, you can also try out that hobby (similarity)
Or if you know type of 'appearances' that he/she attract to, maybe you can become one.
All this are just example, you always find other application beside one that is stated above...
Use your imagination... Hehehe

Journey of Thousand Step, Start with the First Step...
So they say.
Well, everyone start somewhere. This is my...
I see that many people (close to me) write blog. So i thought, 'what the hell, maybe i try it too'.
Maybe, i can too.
Before, i love playing video games, watching anime etc.
But, i'm one that easily grow tired of the same thing.
So, THIS is something new that in trial with me as the judge.
What, How, Who, When, Where,Why?
The most EXPENSIVE question is the WHY.
WHY is HARD to answer.
WHY you start blogging?
WHY you do these and that?
HARD to say.
